3 rounds of jump rope to warm up.
I have a puncture wound on my finger from breaking up a dog fight. I am unable to wear a boxing glove or hit a bag for at least the next couple of days.
However, I decided to revisit an older workout circuit with 30lb dumbbells. Essentially the workout is a super set that consists of 3 sets of:
25 x incline push ups
15 x goblet squats
12 x overhead press
12 x bicep curls
12 x shoulder extensions
12 x bent over row
25 x tricep dips
12 x shoulder extension with resistance band
I will hit this workout for the next few weeks in tandem with heavy bag and jump rope conditioning. I also have plans to return to a proper boxing gym so I can engage with other boxers and participate in sparring sessions. There is nothing like wearing 16oz gloves for 60 minutes and moving around the ring with another person. I am excited and will likely join the Nemea gym.
